Inform. Inspire.
Impact.
I am a compassionate leader interested in new learning opportunities in the journalism and public relations industry as an undergrad at Ball State University.
My passion for journalism has expanded to a dedication to change the world. I believe in the power of the written and spoken word through independent journalism. Giving people a voice can help raise awareness to understand each other's story and draw society toward empathy.
The New York Times
I was one of nineteen college students across the United States accepted into this program. According to New York Times it is "a talent-pipeline mentorship program for undergraduates to receive guidance from Times journalists over a multiyear period." I am paired with Ben Mullin, business reporter, over the course of my college career.
U.S. Army Public Affairs
I worked as a public affairs Cadet Command intern for Cadet Summer Training from May 2025 - Aug. 2025 on Fort Knox, Kentucky. I have produced and published 14 articles, over 250 images, and several videos. Through this experience, I have gained skills in videography, interviewing, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, and WordPress.
Ball State Foundation Writing Intern
I communicate with Ball State University Alumni to write their success story and advertise the beneficence pledge which upholds the college's standards and expectations. I write newsletters and articles, take photos, conduct interviews and more.
Ball State Daily News
I have worked with this award winning student media newspaper as a reporter, columnist, photographer and designer. I have been publishing my work since fall 2022 online and in print.
Ball State Campus Tour Guide
I was employed with our Welcome Center from spring 2023 to spring 2025. I practiced my communication skills by guiding potential students and their families around campus and providing them with the history of our University.
